In October 2020, the conference “Art of Inclusion: Disability and Diversity in Arts and Culture’conference” organised by the European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD), the Cope Foundation and the European Network of Cultural Centres (ENCC) took place. In this conference advocates, experts, policy makers, inspirational thinkers and practitioners gathered to discuss how cooperation between the cultural sector, disabled artists and service providers for disabled people in the cultural sector can be improved. Through its four thematic panels and six interactive workshops some guidelines were established. Check out the report summarising the key points of this event.

And now, already in 2023, we ask you the following question to reflect on: what else can be done? The Power of Creativity project believes that there is still a lot to be done to achieve the development and full inclusion of people with disabilities in our society. To this end, we are working to develop materials that enable those who work with this group to access new activities, ideas and resources to develop workshops and exercises with people with disabilities. Have a look at the first result of the project in our website: Manual for adult trainers on Creativity&Art therapy for disabled.
